Dr. Joe Biernat, DC and his staff of professionals are committed to delivering high quality treatments and rehabilitation utilizing cutting edge techniques such as Chiropractic Spinal Manipulation, Spinal Decompression, Instrumented Assisted Soft Tissue Technique, therapeutic massage, electrical stimulation and more to customize care for your unique needs.
In the past, a patient suffering from disc problems usually was given pain medications, instructed to refrain from physical activities, referred for physical therapy, and when they weren't progressing they were sent for spinal surgery. Conservative chiropractic care proved very helpful in many cases, yet there have been some cases when surgery seemed to be the only other option….until now.

Cervical Spinal Decompression uses state of the art technology to apply a distraction force to relieve nerve compression often associated with chronic neck pain, numbness, tingling and pain down the arms.

We provide advanced spinal correction utilizing "state of the art" chiropractic techniques. Never in the history of chiropractic have we been able to provide the level of help and expertise that now exists. These newer correction methods are even safer, more comfortable and more effective than ever before. As a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Joe Biernat, DC has years of training and experience in spinal adjustment.

Cold Laser Therapy is a relatively new medical treatment with very effective results of decreased pain, numbness and weakness for patients who suffer from severe, chronic pain, numbness and radiculopathy (pain, numbness, tingling etc. that radiates into the arms, legs, hands or feet).

Cold Laser is unlike the typical medical laser that comes to mind. Most lasers you hear about are hot laser for procedures like lasik eye surgery and procedures that involve cutting or removing body tissues. Cold Laser is "cold" meaning there is no heat to cut or damage tissue but rather gently stimulate nerve cells to repair. It's kind of like UV sunlight for plants. Plants use sunlight UV rays to function, make new cells and repair.

Massage Therapy

Designed to aid in the treatment of pain or injuries, orthopedic massage offers a conceptual approach to the management of soft tissue spasm and dysfunctions. The Neuromuscular (Trigger Point Therapy) massage is geared toward the trigger points of the body, which are highly sensitive areas in the muscle that cause localized pain and/or refer pain to other areas of the body. The therapist applies concentrated finger pressure to these points to break the cycles of spasm and pain. Numerous research studies conducted in the United States, Europe, and Asia have documented that far beyond simply “feeling good”, massage therapy has an impressive range of physical, mental, and emotional benefits.

Physical Therapy

Physical Rehabilitation is administered to help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease. Physical therapy treatment aims to restore, maintain, and promote overall fitness and health. Patients that may require physical therapy include: accident victims and individuals with disabling conditions such as low back pain, arthritis, heart disease, fracture (bone)s, head injuries, and cerebral palsy.

The focus of our Physical Therapy Department is on strengthening our patients, so they "hold" their adjustments and get the maximum benefit from their treatment program. Our rehab department also works with patients to gain range of motion and assist with stretching exercise.
